I have always been passionate about working with children and new parents. It is a privilege to be able to support parents in feeling confident during the exciting and challenging new chapter of their lives; that is early parenting.
I only use techniques that promote and support infant and parent bonding and which protect infant mental health and build the confidence of parents.
I have a realistic view of family-life and understand the importance of a suitably structured routine to establish good sleeping patterns, which are essential for your infant's physical, emotional and intellectual development. My gentle approach will enable you to gain good night's sleep which is vital for your whole family’s wellbeing. I will never recommend an approach that leaves an infant to cry his/herself to sleep.
My approach is centred around the premise that "if it is not broken, don't fix it", in the sense that sleep is entirely individual to each family’s goals and lifestyle. There are many popular ideas about what is a "good sleeper" or a "good baby" but I work on the basis that a sleep habit or situation is only an issue if it is a problem for you. We will work together to design a sleep plan that works in harmony with your lifestyle.
My priority is to help new parents gain confidence, get better sleep and a workable structure to their day so that the family as a whole can function better.
I can help you regain your nights, and enjoy this special time as a new family. The best days start with a good night’s sleep.
